Section 2
The tenant acknowledges that the Lease is a legally binding document. In the event that the tenant vacates the property prior to the expiry of the lease, the tenant further acknowledges that the rent is due and payable until such time as a replacement tenant is found, who is accepted by the landlord/agent and who enters into a lease either for the balance of the term of this lease or a new lease at a rental not less than the rental in this agreement. The tenant further agrees that an administration of 1 week rent + GST, plus advertising expended by the landlord/agent (if any) at cost will be deemed payable once a new lease is signed.
Section 7
Prior to vacating the property at the end of the term , regardless of whether this is at the end of the lease or under a general tenancy the tenant agrees to give two (2) weeks notice in writing to the landlord/agent. Confirmation of receipt of this notice will be forwarded to you together with a guide to vacating and an exit condition report for your completion.
